Event Categories
Corporate Cup - this is the major Corporate Cup trophy, for teams that participate in the 4.5km distance (all team members should enter to run or walk this distance for the team to qualify).
Mini Cup - where all team members enter and participate in the 2.25km (Regions) or 2.75km (City) distance.
Mixed Distance - where team members enter and participate in a variety of distances.
Mega Cup - where all team members enter and participate in the 7km distance (City only).
The winning teams are the most improved so you do not have to be the fastest team to qualify for these trophies. The first run/walk determines your handicap time, you then gain points for improvements in your time each fortnight over the next 6 runs/walks. Each fortnight we take the best 5 point scores from your team. After all 7 runs/walks we then take the best 5 of these to determine the overall winning team.
A new point calculation system is also being introduced for 2010!!
Fastest Runners
Fastest Teams
The winning teams and runners are the fastest average so runners should run hard from Week 1! Results are calculated for 6 out of 7 runs and averaged for 5 runners. Teams must have 5 out of 7 runners who run 6 out of 7 runs to qualify for the teams award. Individuals in the team must run 6 out if the 7 runs to qualify for the fastest individual awards.
